Kielder Waterside

Story compilation for cabins

Having invested in a swathe of new luxury chalets in Kielder Waterside Park, Northumbrian Water wanted to update the image of their holiday resort to appeal to wealthier customes and gain a broader reach. Being in the remotest part of England the client passionately believed in using imagery to give people a strong sense of what the location offered.

With many activities on offer from sailing, horse riding, mountain biking to stargazing at the nearby observatory and much more. This is a place for adventure as much as it was relaxing, you can do as much or as little as you like. Kielder Waterside is a place where your holiday can be whatever you want it to be.

The final result tapped into the strong emotional connections we all
have with holidays. The use of words helps transport people to a physical sense of place or memory, the images add atmosphere and give context to the words. Being close up to the subject, the images don’t give too much away, placing the viewer in the moment. The logo holds different words or phrases that sign off the sentiment of the communications/applications highlighting the emotional benefit.
